Sermon: An Environment for Listening
Call to Worship:
L The Spirit of God moves upon the face of the earth, calling out to God’s people. Hush! Can you hear it? Can you hear it calling out your name?
P We are distracted by too many voices, too many sounds, all clamoring for our attention.
L God is calling you; calling you to listen, to hear the word of God, and to share it. Hush! Listen for the word of the Lord.
P We are listening! God, help us to listen!
L God is calling you to help one another to listen, to create an environment in which God may be heard.
P Hush! We hear God, calling our name, calling us to share God’s word.
