Scripture: Luke 10:29-37
Sermon: “Skywalker”

Call to Worship (based on 2 Corinthians 1-5)

Leader: “God consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction.”
People: “For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.”
Leader: We gather on this day in the name of Christ, who suffered for and consoles us, as we lift up in prayer those in need of care and those who lack access to care.
People: As God has consoled us, let us dedicate ourselves to consoling those who long for healing– with our prayers, with our loving service and with our work to solve their suffering.
All: Come, let us worship the God of our consolation with our hearts and our hands, our lips and our lives.
